Biography

Georgy Evgenievich Bauer was born in 1948 in the village of Predivinsk in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
In 1953, his parents, Ekaterina Maltseva and Evgeny Bauer, moved to Minusinsk. After completing eighth grade, he began working as an apprentice lathe operator at the Metallist plant.
In 1965, his parents moved with their entire family to Zaporizhzhia, a city in the Ukrainian SSR, and Georgy enrolled in evening school. After graduating with a silver medal, he entered the Physics and Mathematics Department of the Pedagogical Institute. He began teaching mathematics in the village of Malaya Belozerka. In his third year, he left both his studies and his teaching job. He married and began working as a driver at the Abrasive Plant.
In 1973, their son, Evgeny, was born. Georgy and his family then moved to Kharkiv. After living there for several years, Georgiy divorced his wife and moved back to Zaporizhzhia to be with his parents. He went to work at the Tram and Trolleybus Depot as a turner.
In 1987, he married for a second time, and that same year, his daughter Dasha was born.
In 2006, Georgiy retired.
In August 2021, after a long illness, Georgiy died of vascular cancer.
He is buried at Levanevskoye Cemetery.
