Biography
Oleksandra Arturivna Nechvolod was born on September 28, 2006, in Kharkiv. In 2008, she moved with her mother and sister to the village of Pidlyman in the Izium district.
After completing her studies, she trained as a hairdresser, a profession she pursued with dedication. At the age of seventeen, she became a mother and devoted herself to raising her son, while her partner served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Oleksandra was remembered as light-hearted, kind, and always full of energy. She worked as a hairdresser. Oleksandra was close to her sister Anhelina, with whom she shared a strong bond. Together, the sisters were known for their lively spirit, often posting joyful videos online that reflected their warmth and friendship.
On February 4, 2025, sorrow came unexpectedly. Oleksandra traveled to Izium to update her documents and met her sister, who had come from Kharkiv. After sharing coffee together, they returned to their car just as Russian forces launched a ballistic strike on the nearby State Migration Service building. Both sisters were buried under the rubble and died at the scene.
They were laid to rest side by side in their native village of Pidlyman.
Oleksandra is survived by her young son, who was one year old at the time of her death, as well as her parents and younger brother. Her partner continues to serve Ukraine and has taken responsibility for raising their child.
The memory of Oleksandra Nechvolod lives on as a devoted young mother, a loving daughter and sister, and a adolescent woman whose life was filled with promise and affection. Though her years were few, she remains forever in the hearts of her family and all who knew her.
