Biography

Sarah Miller lived a short life, but one filled with quiet beauty and a deep love for art. Born in Providence, she was drawn from an early age to painting and film photography, finding her voice in the misty coastlines of New England, old porches, and the still, forgotten streets of Massachusetts.
She found her home and her closest companion in her husband, Ben, and the birth of their son, Thomas, in 1985 became the greatest joy of her life. Sarah passed away in the spring of 1991 at just twenty-eight. She left behind hundreds of black-and-white photographs - quiet moments she captured with a rare and gentle eye - and the love of a family who carried her memory forward for the rest of their lives.
