Biography

Vladyslav Ivanovych Strylchuk was born on May 30, 1994, in the city of Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk region. He studied at the vocational college of the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technology, formerly the metallurgical technical school, and later graduated from the National Metallurgical Academy of Ukraine in Dnipro.

From a young age, Vladyslav was passionate about football. He grew up within the Nikopol football system and played for city, district, and regional teams, earning recognition as a talented forward. Alongside his sporting career, he pursued entrepreneurship, opening a workshop and store for the sale and repair of smartphones. His friends and colleagues remembered him as a bright, positive, and generous person who combined professional skill with a love for sport and community.

On January 31, 2026, fate took a tragic turn. Russian forces carried out a targeted artillery strike on one of the central streets of Nikopol. Vladyslav was caught in the attack and suffered a fatal shrapnel wound to the head.

Vladyslav Strylchuk is remembered as a loving son, husband, and brother. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, remained devoted to sport, and actively supported Ukrainian defenders through volunteer efforts. His memory endures in the hearts of all who knew him.

Though his life was cut short, Vladyslav remains a symbol of vitality, kindness, and resilience, a man whose passion for football and dedication to his community will never be forgotten.
