Biography

The greater part of Vitaliy’s life was inextricably linked to his native Zaporizhzhia — it was here that he studied, grew into manhood, and took his first professional steps. Life’s searches and challenges in business did not break him; instead, they became a turning point. He mastered the craft of construction, becoming a true expert in his field. His diligence and professionalism allowed him to work under contract in several countries, yet the call of his homeland always brought him back.

Eventually, Vitaliy moved to Kyiv, where he successfully established himself as a construction contractor. However, his peaceful and creative labor was interrupted by war. In 2022, without hesitation, he traded his construction tools for a weapon and headed to the front lines.

He served in one of the most dangerous units as a stormtrooper. During his time in combat, he displayed exceptional courage, enduring heavy battles and surviving several wounds. After treatment and recovery, Vitaliy continued to serve the army by sharing his invaluable combat experience with new recruits as an instructor.

The life of a warrior, whose spirit was stronger than armor, came to an abrupt end due to a severe illness — pneumonia. Vitaliy was buried with military honors in his hometown of Zaporizhzhia. He is survived by his loving wife and daughter, for whom he will always remain a true hero. He lived the life of a man of iron will, one who knew how to build peace and did not fear to defend it until the very end.
