Biography
Olha Anatoliivna Ryndina was born on October 27, 1955, in Kyiv. She devoted her professional life to education and academic service, working for more than five decades at the Institute of International Relations of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. As senior laboratory assistant at the Department of International Law, she was respected by colleagues and students alike for her responsibility, kindness, and dedication.
Olha married Viacheslav on April 30, 1977, and together they built a family life filled with love and care. Their daughter Anna was the center of their world, and later, Olha’s greatest joy became her grandchildren. She was known for her warmth and hospitality, often gathering her family around the table with her traditional dishes, especially the festive meals she prepared with devotion.
On the night of December 27, 2025, tragedy struck. A Russian drone hit the apartment where Olha and her husband lived in Kyiv. Viacheslav was killed instantly, while Olha sustained severe injuries. Doctors fought for her life for more than two months, but on March 4, 2026, her heart stopped.
Olha Ryndina is remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She is survived by her daughter Anna, son-in-law Volodymyr, her sister Tetiana with her daughter, and her grandchildren Zakhar and Olha.
She is remembered as a woman who combined professional dedication with deep family love. Though her life was taken by war, she remains forever in the hearts of her relatives, colleagues, and all who knew her.
