Biography
Denys Volodymyrovych Rychytsia was born on June 24, 1982, in the city of Stepnohirsk, Zaporizhzhia region, Ukraine. Denys spent his childhood and youth in his native town, where he completed his secondary education.
From a young age, automobiles were his constant passion. Possessing a natural talent, Denys could operate virtually any type of vehicle. This passion defined his professional path: after school, he entered Vasylivka Vocational Technical School (PTU) where he mastered the profession of auto mechanic.
Denys later moved to Zaporizhzhia. He fulfilled his love for transport by working both as a city public transport driver and as an international transport driver, operating long-haul trucks.
By nature, Denys was a quiet and calm man who started a family early, striving for a measured and stable life. His chosen one was Yuliia. Soon after, a son was born into their family. His serenity and well-being were dedicated to his family and his beloved work, in which Denys fully realized his talent.
This peace was broken by the war. When Russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Denys Rychytsia, without hesitation, was among the first volunteers to go to the front to defend his family and his Homeland.
He fought for two years, honorably fulfilling his duty. Tragically, Denys Volodymyrovych Rychytsia was mortally wounded on October 11, 2024.
He was laid to rest at Osypenkivske Cemetery in the city of Zaporizhzhia. The memory of Denys, as a loving father, husband, and a reliable and fearless defender, will forever remain in the hearts of his loved ones.
