Biography
He spent his entire life in his hometown of Sumy; it was here that he was born, lived, studied, worked, and married. He attended Sumy School No. 25, after which he trained as a lathe operator at Vocational School No. 2. He then completed his mandatory military service in Kharkiv, serving as a unit sniper. After his service, he went to work at the Frunze Plant as a 5th-grade lathe operator. He combined work with studies at Sumy University, eventually earning a higher education degree. He had many hobbies, including playing the guitar, table tennis, kayaking, and participating in various sports competitions; he often represented his workplace in these events. He was very fond of fishing and mushroom picking. He had a beloved wife, Olena, two daughters—Anna and Alina—a mother, and a sister who was close to him in age. He was a reliable pillar of support for his family, as well as a loving husband, father, and son. He was a wonderful, sincere companion to his many friends. Kind, honest, open, cheerful, and always ready to help anyone or make personal sacrifices—that describes my son. He was an Honorary Blood Donor of Ukraine and saved many lives thanks to his rare blood type. He loved life and his country, dreaming of seeing it free and independent; he was a true patriot and a loyal son of his people. From the very first day of the full-scale invasion, he stepped up to defend his hometown, joining the Territorial Defense Forces and later the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was killed while saving his fellow soldiers during the Zaporizhzhia offensive; he was blown up by a mine and sustained fatal injuries.
