Biography

Ihor Olehovych Levchenko was born on August 22, 1996, in the town of Semenivka, Chernihiv region. From childhood he faced challenges, living with a disability as he was born without the left hand. Yet he grew up strong in spirit, hardworking, and determined to live fully. His family and friends remembered him as sincere, cheerful, and resilient, always ready to support others.

Ihor became an entrepreneur in his hometown, officially registering his small business and opening a clothing store called “Orchidea” in the center of Semenivka. He worked tirelessly, paying taxes and contributing to his community, while also caring for his family. Despite difficulties, he remained positive, often smiling and joking, bringing light to those around him.

He was a loving father and husband. From his first marriage he had a son, whom he adored and proudly raised as an example of courage and kindness. Later, in Semenivka, he met his future wife, and together they built a life filled with love, dreams, and mutual support.

On October 13, 2025, tragedy struck. In the morning, around 10:00, Ihor stepped out of his store when Russian forces launched a targeted attack with an FPV drone. The strike hit near the shop, and Ihor was killed instantly.

He was buried in his native Semenivka.

Ihor Levchenko is remembered as a devoted father, husband, son, and brother, a man of strength and kindness whose life was cut short but whose memory endures in the hearts of his family and everyone who knew him.
