Biography
Nataliia Oleksandrivna Ilienko was born on April 8, 1997, in Zaporizhzhia. From childhood she was known for her creativity and kindness. She loved drawing and working with clay, often creating decorative pieces that reflected her imagination. Friends remembered her as a warm and empathetic person, always ready to help those in need.
Nataliia dreamed of building something of her own in her native city. In her twenties she fulfilled that dream by opening a small coffee shop, a cozy place that quickly became a favorite among locals. She poured her energy into the business, combining her entrepreneurial spirit with her love of people.
Her life was tragically interrupted on August 18, 2025. That morning, as she was opening her café, Russian missiles struck the trading rows of Zaporizhzhia. Shrapnel severely injured her spine and spinal cord, leaving her paralyzed and unable to breathe without assistance. Nataliia spent nearly three months in intensive care, fighting bravely with the support of doctors and her family. For a time there was hope of recovery, but the injuries proved too severe. On November 16, 2025, her heart stopped.
Nataliia left behind her parents and a young daughter, Yeseniia.
She is remembered as a devoted mother, a talented entrepreneur, and a creative soul whose kindness touched many lives. Her memory lives on in her family, her community, and the café she once dreamed into reality.
