Biography

Svitlana Viktorivna Chernovol was born on October 10, 1985, in the village of Yaroslavka, Chernihiv region. In later years she settled in Bilohorodka, Kyiv region, where she built a successful career as a cosmetologist and entrepreneur. She founded two beauty salons under the name Svitlana Blatova Beauty Space, dedicating herself to her profession with passion and care. Her work brought joy and confidence to many clients, and she was admired for her energy, kindness, and optimism.

Outside of her business, Svitlana enjoyed spending time outdoors, staying active through sports, and planning trips abroad. She was a devoted mother and partner, raising her children with love and attention. Her family and friends remembered her as a cheerful, compassionate woman who always offered support and encouragement.

On January 28, 2026, sorrow came unexpectedly. Russian forces attacked a residential building in Bilohorodka, Kyiv region. The strike caused a fire in the home where Svitlana lived. She and her partner, Maksym Oliinyk, were killed in the blast, while their four-year-old daughter Milana was rescued from the flames.

Svitlana Chernovol was laid to rest in her native village of Yaroslavka, where family and friends gathered to say farewell. She is survived by her parents, her son, her young daughter, and her brother.

Her memory endures as that of a vibrant entrepreneur, a loving mother, and a woman whose warmth and positivity touched everyone around her. Though her life was cut short, the people who knew her continue to carry her memory with love and admiration for her strength and spirit.
