Biography

Oleksandr Volodymyrovych Bevz was born on March 26, 1997, in the city of Nemyriv, Vinnytsia region. From childhood, he was drawn to creativity and music, which became his greatest passion. He studied at the Odesa National Academy of Food Technologies, but his true calling was in composing electronic music. Writing techno tracks and dreaming of becoming a well-known DJ, Oleksandr found joy and meaning in sound. His friends remembered him as cheerful, open, and honest, someone who naturally gathered people around him.

Before the full-scale invasion, Oleksandr worked abroad in Warsaw, Poland, but the war changed the course of his life. In May 2022, he joined the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, determined to defend his homeland. He served in the 24th Border Detachment named after Hero of Ukraine Senior Lieutenant Viacheslav Semenov, holding the position of Inspector of the Border Service, First Category, operator of the second border outpost. His call sign was “ALEBE,” a name that reflected his individuality and later became a symbol of his legacy.

On November 1, 2022, while performing a combat mission near the settlement of Nevelske in Donetsk region, Oleksandr was killed in action.

His sacrifice was recognized with the Order “For Courage,” 3rd Class, awarded posthumously.

He was laid to rest in his native Nemyriv, on the Alley of Glory of the central cemetery, where his community honored him as a true defender of Ukraine.

Oleksandr’s life combined artistry and duty. Even at the front, he carried with him a note that read, “I bring goodness into this world,” a reflection of his spirit and optimism. His mother, who loved him deeply, later fulfilled his dream by opening a recording studio named “ALEBE,” ensuring that his passion for music would live on.

The memory of Soldier Oleksandr Bevz, a brave border guard and devoted son of Ukraine, remains alive in the hearts of his family, comrades, and all who knew him. His courage, honesty, and love for his homeland stand as a lasting example of the strength and resilience of Ukraine’s defenders.
